I am 34 and am getting 5 wisdom teeth removed soon. 4 of them are simple extractions but the 5th is a horizontally impacted lower wisdom tooth that is mostly (90%) in the jaw bone, has "never" given me trouble, and in the words of my dentist would be "hell" to get extracted. Yet at my consultation with a surgeon he said that it would take him a few seconds for the first 4 teeth and a couple of minutes with the impacted tooth and I should be back at work in 2 or 3 days? Is this guy just after money here? Should I take my dentists advice and just leave the impacted non problematic tooth there?
