dear doctor, I was experiencing pain on the lower part of my teeth. some tooth portion was inside the gum, some years back. some portion of that piece became visible and the pain originated. consulted the doctor last saturday and he removed the piece. the next tooth was treated root canal and crowned some years back. after removing the piece i am experiencing severe pain to entire side of my body including eyes. i contacted my doctor and he prescribed antibiotics, broofin600 and bcomplex medicine. last four days i am taking it and there is no relief. again i consulted my doctor over phone, then he said it might be because of root canal treatmetn failure. he said an x-ray has to be taken to have a thorough examination. what we have to do if it is a root canal treatment failure?

Reply to Rao's Post: First I thought the pain was from the portion of the teeth hidden in the gum. even after removing the piece the pain prolonges. that means the origin of the pain is from somewhere else. and I am having pain not in the entire jaw but 2/3 portion.

swelling is there. which is visible from outside. puss drainage is not there.

no special sensitivity i noticed

lover tooth was removed the last one. there was only a portion submerged in the gum. a small portion came outside and pain originated. then the doctor advised to remove it. the adjacent tooth was root canaled.
